Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 12, 2026
The short version: I collect your email so I can send you the newsletter you asked for. I don't sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone except the tools that actually deliver the email. You can leave anytime with one click.

What I collect

Why I collect it

One reason only: to send you the Connect with Cliff newsletter and the occasional related note. No ads, no selling, no profiling beyond "did this email land and was it useful."

If you're in the EU or UK, the lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form — which you can withdraw anytime by unsubscribing.

Who I share it with

Only the providers that make the newsletter work, acting on my behalf:

I do not sell or rent your data to anyone, ever.

Where your data lives

My tools store data on servers in the United States. If you're in the EU/UK, that means your data is transferred to and processed in the US.

How long I keep it

As long as you're subscribed. Unsubscribe and you're moved to a suppression list so I don't accidentally email you again. Ask me to delete you entirely and I will.

Your rights

At any time you can:

EU/UK readers also have the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of this, just email [email protected].

Cookies & tracking

This site is essentially static and sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Emails include a standard open-tracking pixel and link tracking so I can tell what's useful — block images in your email client if you'd rather opt out of that.

Children

This isn't for anyone under 16, and I don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. Anything material, I'll mention in the newsletter.
