I use project inquiries to understand your request and reply about working together. An inquiry doesn't subscribe you to marketing. When you separately subscribe, I use your email to send the Connect with Cliff newsletter and related updates.
Newsletter signup is optional, and you can withdraw your consent anytime by unsubscribing. Project inquiries are used to respond to the request you chose to send.

Subscriber and inquiry records are stored using my hosting and database infrastructure. Cloudflare and email providers also process data to deliver and protect the service. Processing may take place outside your country.
Newsletter records are kept while you're subscribed. Unsubscribe and you're moved to a suppression list so I don't accidentally email you again. Ask me to delete you entirely and I will.
Project inquiry records are kept to handle the conversation and any resulting work. You can ask me to correct or delete your inquiry by emailing the address below.

The inquiry page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check for automated abuse and loads fonts from Google Fonts. The site uses Google Analytics to understand visits. Emails include a standard open-tracking pixel and link tracking so I can tell what's useful ... block images in your email client if you'd rather opt out of that.
This isn't for anyone under 16, and I don't knowingly collect data from children.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. Anything material, I'll mention in the newsletter.
